95 Explorer running cold
I last posted March of this year.
I have tried Stant, Ford and now I have a 198 deg. Moto-rad stat, all with the same result. Normal highway temp is around 170f. This summer I was getting 28mpg on long trips-4-6 hour run. Back and forth to work was 24 mpg.
106k round trip. This is more than acceptable.
But, winter is here and low temp equals low heater output. I'm going to install a winter front and see if that helps.
