Simple geometry, think about how the suspension works. I cant see the truck so I'm not sure if there are any other problems. You may also need new ball joints with more adjustment.

Since that is the case, some new springs will definately take care of your problem.
There is an edit button to fix mistakes but that is a good way to get that post count up.

If your on a budget the add-a-leafs for the front would be cheaper then new springs. Add-a-leafs would solve your problem, had to do it on my 97. Worked out well, actually gave me some positive camber, went from this /....\ to this \..../, what you want is this |....|. The Dana 44 and Dana 50 in 97 were both TTB independent designs, since yours is a Powerstroke you have the Dana 50. The Dana 60 solid axle only came in the F350 in 97, but can be easily swapped into an F250.

Are the add-a-leafs safe to use? do they compromise anything in the suspension or safty of the truck? thanks!

Yes add-a-leafs are safe - you are adding another spring underneath the stock spring pack to help support the weight of the truck. I myself would NOT suggest an add-a-leaf for you since your springs are already sagging. An add-a-leaf will be alright for a while - but it will sag too because it is esentially supporting more weight because of the stock pack being sagged. Best but not cheapest would be to get new springs and then throw your add-a-leaf under them. Next best, and much cheaper, is have your stock springs re-arched and throw an a-a-l on. I went through this with my old truck - that's why I say don't put an a-a-l under already sagging springs. After about 4 months, I had to take them back off, and get them re-done again, 'cause they had sagged down almost to where they were before I added the leaf, AND they rode like crap too.

Cat's right if your stock springs are already sagging then the add-a-leaf is only a temporary solution. I would put new springs and an add-a-leaf on it if I had to do it again, that way you would never have to worry about it again
