Tq?

Hey I have some threadlocker for my cam plate bolts/scews. I was wondering what should I torqe these scews/bolts too?

12-15 ft lbs using the stock bolts and 45-50 if upgraded to grade 8.

That seems like a little low to me, I just got an impact screwdriver and drove it on pretty tight with threadlocker. My guess would be around 45-50ftlbs, but that is a guess. Make sure its on there good, if it comes lose, it will destroy your engine!

I do mine around 20 with the oem bolts and I agree 12-15 seems light but thats whats speced. 45-50 will SNAP the oem bolts...ask me how I know. However the better grade 8 will be fine at that torque level. JMO, G.

I did mine to about 20 ft-lbs. Remember they're just dumb little screws.

OBTW, the threadlocker is an EXTREMELY good idea.
