Old Rangers
Lets clear this up. 1978 was the first year on Ford trucks for square headlights. The custom and bone stock models came with round headlights in 78. Anything with a trim package like ranger, XLT, lariat, explorer, ranger explorer, ranger explorer XLT lariat and so on and so forth, had square headlights. In 1979 all of the models came with square headlights.
