Am I the only gentleman who finds it appalling that most ladies wear pants most of the time? My wife wears blue jeans 9 out of 10 days, and the idea that I am horrified by that does not seem to bother her at all. A skirt or a dress looks nice more often than I am getting to see one. Especially when she is going around complaining about how hot it is here when it is only 48* outside- I think her age might have something to do with her thinking it is too hot, but I don't dare to suggest any such thing. But if she is warm wouldn't a skirt be less hot ? What about the rest of y'alls wives ? Skirts or always pants ? DF
I WOULD PERFFER THAT MY WIFE WIFE WALK AROUND NAKED ALL THE TIME HAHAHAHAHAHAHA no really my wife wears shorts all the time and puts a dress on when she goes to church.i would like it if she wore a dress all the time.i find a woman in a dress very attractive.you now like it turns me on.i sure miss the good ole days when thats all they would wear.but tight Wanglers look real good on girls to.

My wife works in an office, so she always wears dresses calf length or longer. After work and weekends she wears pants, shorts or capris'.
I would think that a skirt would be much cooler than shorts even. But women are so self consious about their bodies. Seems like most middle aged women don't like to show their legs at all.
When I wear shorts, she tells me I have chicken legs!
Now what I really hate is pantyhose...
Nate, you are right. And it depends on what the woman is doing as to what she looks best in doing it. As far as naked goes, that leaves nothing for the imagination. And you have to admit guys , our imaginations sure can run wild. Leave it to the women, they know how to dress.
My wife doesn't directly tell me what to wear, but I am pretty certain that she is the one who bought all the clothes I have. So if she doesn't like it, I don't have it. It is just that so many women dress as if they were men, and I am wondering why ? If memory is functioning correctly today, the 5th book, 22nd chapter, 5th verse tells us we should dress as the gender we were made, or else. Does this mean nothing to anyone anymore ? DF

I would also add that in Paul's writing he strongly advocates that woman always wear a covering over their hair. If your gonna make them wear a skirt you better throw in the bonnet to.
Some woman can dress in loose carpet and still like fine. Nice pair of jeans or a skirt, oooooh we! They still look good.
DF, be carefull about calling yourself a "gentleman". It leaves the door wide open.
To sum up my take it on this: So What! Be glad for the woman you got and let her know it.
I hesitate to even post this since the last Bible discussion got waaaaay out of hand and was rightly locked. I'll keep my comments directed to the issue at hand.
Deuteronomy is a repitition of the Law of Moses, the law that God gave to the nation of Israel. To understand its relevance, one must understand its purpose. It's purpose was to verbally teach important lessons about what God expects of all people. These lessons were fulfilled in Jesus. He demonstrated all that God required in the law. (Galatians 3:24,25)
When looking at the law of Moses, one must look at the PURPOSE for which a particular pasage was written, find the lesson God intended, and apply it within the context. The lesson He was teaching in Deut.22:5 was that there should be a distinction between men and women. I don't think this included pants/skirts since neither were around then. If we want to get critical, we should say that men should wear a loincloth and cloak. I think the lesson should be rightly applied to one who is attempting to decieve others concerning his/her gender (i.e. RuPaul).
If we're going to use the Bible, let's use it correctly. I'm done. If anyone respoinds I'll be reading about truck stuff, so fire away.

Your absolutely right Nate_64. If one is using the Bible to prove a point, one should make sure they use it correctly! Good point!!! While on the subject it amazes me how so many people can interpret the Good Book differently. Not that anyone I know of here has done this, but alot of people like to twist facts to suit their ideas and not twist their ideas to suit the facts. Ok I'll shut up now before an arguement gets started over a peaceful discussion!!!

Well I personally believe a woman can wear what she wants. I wear what I want, therefore, she can also. I do like a woman in a short skirt. There is nothing better on a woman than that. I also like tight jeans and a nice dress. I just want my future wife to be happy. So what she chooses to wear, she can wear it.
If you take some parts of the bible word for word, then you have to take the entire thing word for word. You can't just pick and choose what sounds good to you.
If you choose to interpret "what the bible really meant" you have to be careful because, who says your right? What makes your interpretation better than mine. Granted we both might agree that someone else might be twisting the facts, but who are we to judge.
Define correct use of the bible.
I'm not saying I disagree with you guys, I'm just saying that picking and choosing how you interpret the bible to suit your needs doesn't work for me. And that there are no universal guidelines for correct interpretation.
