I looked through a Haynes manual to see if I could locate any relays or fuses that may have popped but I couldnt find anything about the digital odometer.
Does the instrument cluster light up at night?
^^^As far as his reply goes, make sure to "...disable the airbag system before working in the vicinity of the impact sensors, steering column or instrument panel. Failure to follow these procedures may cause accidental deployment of the airbag...The airbag circuits are easily identified by yellow insulation covering the entire wiring harness. Do not use electrical test equipment on any of these wires or tamper with them in any way. -Haynes"
hey, thanks for the link and all the help. i tore my dash apart today and resoldered the point the picture shown. hope it works, it is working now but it was mostly interment, only happened a few times. only time will tell if i actually fixed it or not. again thanks. it wasnt so hard to do afterall.
i was just thinking, after putting the dash back together, i should have asked if any body had any idea as to what wire to cut, if possible, to be able to have the driving lights on when the bright lights are on. seems it would be an easy fix if some body could me it is possible.
