that means one of 2 things.
if the solonoid is clicking, that the glowplugs are all burned up
orif the solonoid isn't clicking and all the wires are hooked up right the controller is burned up. i have seen brand new conlroller burn out all the glowplugs the first time its plugged in!

hook up a test light touching the wavy metal thing. then have a buddy turn the key on. if the light lights up for 8 seconds and then starts blinking, that means its good and all the wires are hooked up right. if it only blinks one time or stays on for just 3-or 4 seconds and goes off, that means the wires are hooked up and the plugs are burned out. you have to try one thing at a time, just make sure all the wires are hooked up right first. and go from there. are your batteries charged up good?

give it a shot of starting fluid, only 1/2 a second. a whole second will make it clunk and knock, and could possibly blow a head gasket. or bend a rod. if you give it starter fluid, dont even worry about glowplugs, just crank on it. if it doesn't seem to do anything, give it a little more the second time. if it just clunks a couple times and don't do nothin, then that means its a fuel roblem. but if it is not a fuel problem, the starter fluid will amke it start before the motor starts spinning good, it will start better than a dodge thats alredy warmed up.
