Gauges...

Morning ALL, was wondering to those who have put aftermarket gauges in, ie. Pyrometer, or boost etc.. How important are the Boost and/or trans temp. Since the 05's have the Boost/Tranny in the dash I know aftermarket are generally more reliable, the factory boost goes to what... 40psi?? thats enough right? or does it only hit 25psi?? I plan on doing some modifying to the box with a turn up dial or something, and if I go one route, I'll need a pyrometer.. just trying to save a little $$$ and put it in inconspicuos place.

I run all three on the A pillar pod.....would not have a truck without them.....
Not sure on what the factory goes too

Check out the X-Monitor gague package in my gallery. It does all three in one compact unit.

cool, the X-monitor.. that isn't like the "attitude" or something is it? Will the X work with all of the boxes, and stock??

No the Attitude is something different.

The X-Monitor is just a gauge package and will work with the truck stock or with any tuner. I don't know if the Attitude or which one of those others that is supposed to start defueling if the truck gets too hot would require a second pyro probe - my guess is that it probably would.
