Skid plates

I bought my X without factory skid plates, but have found myself heading into some more gnarly trails than I expected during the hunting season. Are aftermarket or factory skid plates available and where could I find them? What about cost?

Thanks!

Since the tank already has one, the only one that I know of readily available is the transfer case skidplate.

You can get one from an online parts dealer, your local dealer or an aftermarket source that I'm sure someone else here can hook you up with.

Good luck & I hope you've got a LS axle out back!

Hello Monsta,

Could you please further elaborate on this point?

The tank is surrounded by a protective piece of metal.

Is there a skid plate for the front radiator? I had a stick catch th lower pipe and rip the fitting off the radiator - and ruin the transmission colling line = $550 - right off the road in front of my house. I would NEVER consider takign the X off-road with this weakness. ANyone know of a good skid plate without the nerf bars?
