I am going to start a build on a 400 and I am wanting to shoot for 360ish horsepower and about 475lb-ft. Is that gonna be too hard? Not too sharp on the engine building scene hehe. I do not want to have a supercharger or juice, I just want moter and run off 91 octane. I do not have any emission controls. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can Acheive this goal?
thanks all very much.
that should be no problem, i finished my rebuilt 2 years ago, got 10:1 compression and put about 350hp, with a litle more work and better heads i can do about 600hp. but it depends on how much you want to spend while doing it.
