I have a 1970 ranchero with a 250 6 in it. My first thought when starting this project was to stick a 302 in it but then thought it would be unique to leave the 6 in and put some headers and a larger carb on it ( I have a 350 holly left over from the dirt car). however It seams the 250 intake is part of the head and if I stick a carb adapter on it the hood won't shut. Any Ideas on putting a larger carb on there? or ideas for hopping up (more for looks than for go). the 250?
any help or info would be appreciated
