Possible cat problems...

I have a 300-6 (93 ) with a single in dual out cat back exhaust system, going to 2 massive 2 foot long tips. Also i have a custom intake (and im pretty sure its fuctioning properly) and the only reason i tell you this is becuase it might be that i can take more air in, but i doubt it, but neway. So its started getting cold blah blah, everyone gets that white condensation type smoke, well the other day, i got in, drove to school, (about 2 miles but a 10 - 15 minute traffic bog.) and when i got out, i noticed they were still doing it slightly. Then tonight, i just got off work, its prolly close to 35 to 45 degrees outside, all i know is that its cold, but i pulled up to a red light about a mile from work, and it is just bellowing this mist stuff out. Is that just becuase my exhaust is so free flowing, or is there something wrong with my cats?

may be normal

Did you happen to look at the other cars around you to see if they were pumping out alot of steam also? When its cold and humid out, you will tend to see alot of steam coming out of your exhaust pipe. I cant give you the scientific explanation but engines produce alot of water in the exhaust and since the exhaust is hot, it turns the water to steam and you will see it more in colder weather. If your truck is producing abnormally large amont of steam it probably means that your cats are doing there job very well.

yea i looked at other cars, they were doing it too, but not this much, which is why i was concerned, but i wasnt sure. Ok, new question, if i was to go with headers with dual outs, would dual high flow cats help? I was told by the local muffler shop that it wouldnt outflow the stock 2 cat config.
