Hi Fellows,Have a question.Is there a difference in the onboard computers between standard and automatic transmissons???? I just finised putting a 5 spd trans in place of a 4 spd auto.When I'm running at slack throttle it sometimes sort of hicups.You know hucka hucka type thing . I know it sounds silly but I was just wondering. Thanks Guys......Len

The computer needs to be reflashed for a manual, if they share the same platform for the ECU code, otherwise a company swap is needed. What is the ECU code of the computer?

Ken,I don't know what the ECU is.A friend of mine was here and Hooked something up to the truck and couldn't get anything out of itso I don't know what to tell you.Thanks Len.
