Rebuild question?

I am getting closer to finishing my 390 for my 66 F100

The rods had a little play on the piston end so I took them back to the shop to get new bushings.

The question I have is what kind of power do you think I will be making?
and what will my power band be?

-390 .040 over balanced
-silvolite 1130 pistons about 9-9.4-1 comp?
-Edelbrock perormer intake
-Holley 4160 600cfm
-Sock dist w/pertonics
-Cam 204/214 Dur@.50, .484/.510valve lift, 112 lobe sep

im guessing close to 300hp maybe a little less, get some headers, it would be a good 30hp gain with your set-up.

Good luck finding shorties. I saw a set on Ebay about 6 months ago for $500. Haven't seen any since.

Rusty 70 f100

I got the cam on e-bay from Mad dog racing.
I don't know if the part number is their's or the manufacturers

Speed Pro or Clevite 77
Part # is 229-1776
Specs are as follows:

.484/.510 valve lift
204/214 duration at .050"
270/280 advertised duration
112 lobe separation

Unfortunately that doesn't do me much good. I need the IVO, IVC, EVO, and EVC events.

I didn't get that much info with it.
I guess that is what I get for buying a bargain cam.
If I don't like it I will have to deal with it until I build up
the spare motor that I plan on.

thanks
