att tranny ?

I was told that the 5 speed trany in my 02 ranger is called a "T-5" I thought that, tranny was in mustang's only. ?

Your Ranger 5 speed manual is a MAZDA R1. Look in your owners manual under capacities and fluid type.

Will I looked in my owners Manual where u said and I found that my tranny holds 9.9 quarts of Motorcraft Atf fluid.

Take another look at your manual. If you have a manual transmission it takes 2.8 quarts of MERCON AFT. If you have a auto it takes 9+ quarts of MERCON V AFT.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 13-Aug-02 AT 11:35 AM (EST)]I made a mistake. since I work next store to the dealer I got my truck from I stoped by and found that the trany in the 02 is from france. I told them a friend told me that is was a mazda R1 and they asked me if I was on crack. They told me They stop using that tranny 3 years ago. I went home and frank called me back and They said ##### It is a mazda R1.
