operating temp for C6

operating temp for C6

just wondering what the normal operating temp would be for a C6. When cruising with no load, after awhile it gets up to 180, but that is at highway speeds (3000 rpm@65 mph). around town, under 45 it only goes up to about 140. is this normal.

sounds normal maybe even alittle cold. do you have a cooler? a c6 dont have a lock up so it slips the convertor all the time, on the highway it may slip more and cause higher temp. i think its ok.

yeah, it runs through a cooler. never had a temp guage hooked up to a trans before, so wasnt sure what a good range of temps would be.
