Power Steering 04 Psd?

Has anyone else had a problem with power steering at an idle when stopped? Mine doesn't seem to work unless you give it some gas. When I back my boat back and fourth it really gets on my nerves. It is full of fluid and doesn't have any leeks anywhere. Thanks for any advice.

My problem is even though this is a problem I have noticed for a while. I just lifted my truck and now they probably will blame the lift for this and not warranty it.

This has been a problem for powerstrokes for years. you can't turn the wheels with the brakes applied at idle.just let off of the brakes and it willturn fine. remember they are both hydro boosted from the same hydralic booster.

Yep. It's due to hydroboost. It doesn't bother me that much though, because I have other hydroboosted trucks I'm around all the time, so you kind of learn to either pony up to the effort or try and drift a little.
