Hi I am getting a howl/vibration in the air intake tube only when it gets over 90 degrees,I have replaced the air filter and cleaned the
MAF.but still happens.any ideas would be appreciated thanks Mike
Don't worry I have a 99 and it does the same thing and mine is loud. And after i put a K&N intake kit on it it just made it louder. So no you're not alone with your problem.
mines a '98 and just started doing the same thing. I unhooked the wire to the maf and the noise quit. It only does it for a few minutes but it is annoying. Does it need cleaning or replaced?

DO NOT disconnect the MAF, it is a critcal sensor. I would just replace the IAC if I had the problem.

I unhooked it for a second and hooked it back up just to see if it was doing all the whining.
