no power

Angry no power

I replaced the starter and solenoid on my 1991 F-150, 4.9l 6cyl, 4 speed now I have no power when i turn the ignition switch, I have checked the fuses and I am about at my wits end, any ideas?

no power at all, could it be a bad solenoid

a bad solenoid would have absoultely nothing to do with the reason why, noting works. you should check your battery cables, for corrosion, opens, shorts, stuff like that.

Trace it from the battery out, with a voltmeter. You may have hooked the feed from the battery to the starter incorrectly, or the feed to power the rest of the truck incorrectly. Since you just changed those electrical parts, Id go with a wiring mixup. I dont know your truck specifically, though. Good Luck
