390 Worth???

I was just wondering what a 390 GT engine with a hot cam, 700cfm carb, 10.5:1 compression would be worth, the engine is a fresh rebuild. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Are we talking stock heads and intake? Stock lower end? All items numbers matching??? This will help determine value. G.

I wouldn't pay more than a grand for it, but that's just me. Actually an easy engine to duplicate, so it's not in my opinion worth a whole lot.

Stock castings, C8AE-H...it has aluminum roller rockers with springs capable of .600 lift, 4bbl intake with "S" in front runner, 750cfm holley, crane .514 lift cam 280 duration....also supposed to have those lifters that are not supposed to lock up at high rpms with big cam, has flat top pistons that only have valve reliefs.

Well, why would someone put in all those parts and then saddle it with a boat anchor intake ? Heads are good, Cam sounds OK, but those springs sound way too stiff for that cam. Carb and roller rockers also a plus.
