Need some help here guys. Had to drive through a few construction sites over the weekend. Went to wash off the truck today and discovered that I now have millions of specks of concrete stuck to my paint. They come off if I scrape them with my fingernail, but don't come off with wax. I tried washing the truck numerous times with no luck. I could sit there for days and scratch each one off, but there has to be an easier way. Would a buffer and some polishing compound help. Next stop might be a paint shop to see if they can remove them.
Guess you can tell by the smile that I solved my little problem. Went to an auto paint supplier today to get a clay bar and pick his brain. He gave me this new product by Diamondite called Speed Clay. It's a spray on clay. The stuff is fantastic. It took all the concrete off, all the srcratches and swirl marks are gone.. I waxed the truck with Mothers Carnuba wax and the truck never looked this good.
