BFG Tire Alert!

Just came across this on BFG's website, I thought I'd share this information on a voluntary recall on certain tires.

"All of the recalled tires were produced in week 15 and 16 this year (April 11-24, 2004) at the Ft. Wayne facility and include BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Liberator, Medalist, Phantom and Prospector brands in the following dimensions: "

Glad my tire size wasn't on there. I think I will go in and have the shop rotate them anyway and let the look at them to be on the safe side. Free rotation anyway.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Mine are about a year old, but it would be nice to get a free set of tires!

I wish my tires were on the list......New tires.....what a deal. Am I wrong here?

I ran my firestones that I had on my Ranger till they were literally shot, then went to the Goodyear shop and they hooked my up with a set of new shoes! So basically the first ~75K on my ranger, as far as tires goes, didn't cost me a dime.
