quick question though... did you install the autospring kit yourself?
if you did, how did you get the entire shock/strut assembly back into position cause' it's now basically 2" longer.
did you use a pry bar???
i found the autospring for sale on e-bay after posting my first msg. i think i'm going to go with autospring cause' it's about $200 less than the truxxx kit and it looks to be the same thing.
brabus, check out my post https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=297468i bought this lift from rockymountainsusp.com IT IS LISTED AS A 2'' LIFT BUT I DIDN'T GET QUITE THAT MUCH AS MY POST EXPLAINS. THE REASON I CHOSE REVTEK IS ACCORDING TO THE SALES REP. BECAUSE THIS SPACER IS ALUMINUM THERE IS NO SQUEAKING PROBLEM. AND ACCORDING TO THEM SOME OF THE LIFTS THAT USE URETHANE SPACERS DEVELOP A SQUEAK AFTER SOME MILES ARE PUT ON IT. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE OR NOT BUT THAT'S WHAT I WAS TOLD. AS FAR AS GETTING THE STRUT BACK IN PLACE I WAS ABLE TO PUSH THE LOWER CONTROL ARM DOWN WITH MY HAND TO ALLOW ENOUGH ROOM TO REINSTALL THE STRUT.
HOPE THIS INFO HELPS AND IF THE LINK ABOVE DOESN'T WORK IT CAN BE FOUND ON PAGE # 5 THE TITLE IS "REVTEK LIFT THOUGHTS AND PICS"
