Who can a x-plan eligible person "share" his pin with? A friend of mine, who is x-plan eligible, won't use his second pin this year and offered it to me. Can I use his second one? Also, my brother-in-law(my wife's sister's husband) is also x-plan eligible. Can I use his pin? I have read that immediate family is eligible, but wasn't clear about more extended family or friends?
Ford Motor Company employees can give out 2(?) X-Plan PINs per year, to pretty much whomever they want. Anyone else that qualifies for X-Plan (employees of companies that do business with Ford, for example) can share them only with their spouse.
Just read in the Detroit news :
"This week, more than 200,000 Ford Motor Co. employees and retirees will receive notice in the mail that they can share special discounts with six people, up from the current four. Workers who are especially successful convincing friends and family to buy Fords will get a bonus: a die-cast model of the company’s new GT sports car autographed by Chairman and CEO Bill Ford Jr.
While Ford allows employees or retirees to refer up to eight people for discounts, no more than four can receive its highest designations. Known as the A-plan for active employees and Z-plan for retirees, they make vehicles available at dealer cost.
The other major category, reserved for friends and neighbors, is known as the X-plan. Its discount levels vary according to vehicle cost.
The limited-edition autographed model of the Ford GT will go to Ford employees who use or distribute all of their discount offers — eight in total.
Allen expects more than 1,000 Ford employees will qualify for it. It’s the first time Bill Ford has agreed to such an offer. "
They can give out more plans but it doesn't say that the A Plan can be given to friends. I would love an A plan for January for a SuperDuty!!!!
Hey guys... I am also in the same boat where I can use a friends pin, but what I am wondering is what the discount difference is between the A and X plan. Who is eligable for the A plan? I understand that the X plan is what I would be able to use and that the discount differs per vehicle, but does anyone know what an '05 CCLB F250 4x4 6.0 Xlt that retails for about 44,500 go for on the X plan? I realize the X plan price is printed on the dealer invoice, but I built this vehicle to the specs I want and havent found it on any lots in the Central Florida area. Any help is greatly appriciated.

Why all the interest in X-plan? If the aqha.com offer is $500 off (-30 to sign up) and x-plan is only $200 under invoice, wouldn't it be cheaper using aqha? On the other hand, if anyone has an extra A-plan pin, please shout! I have a F350 on order. Thanks
