Read all the posts in the thread "X-Plan: Really all it's cracked up to be?" in this forum, and that should answer all your questions.

Special Ford plans

A plan is for Ford enplyee and direct relatives, at cost or below

X plan is friends and family, anyone can use it, 4% over dealer cost.

B plan the purchase of used compnay cars, below dealer cost

Z plan is for retirees, same as A plan.

D plan is for dealers. 4% over dealer cost.

I hope this helps everyone to understand the options.

I would be willing to sponser you, just send me a an email.

Special Ford plans

DW2455,
According to Ford, as of August 13th, all Ford vehicles EXCEPT van conversions and certain commercial-use Econolines are eligible for these programs. All cars (including T-Bird and SVT products) are currently eligible.

P.S. you anywhere near West Plains? My sister lives there.

Post Special Ford plans

This is what ford lists on their internal site on how to calculate X-Plan pricing as of today (sept 8, 2003).

Pricing

X-PLAN pricing calculations are as follows:

Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products are 4% over the Ford A-PLAN price, which is the dealer's net price.

Jaguar products are 4% over the A-PLAN price.

Land Rover products are 4% of MSRP (excluding freight) added to the invoice price (freight included).

Volvo products are 2% over A-PLAN price.

X-PLAN sales are also eligible for any applicable retail incentives.
A-PLAN prices are available by accessing www.axz.ford.com.

The pricing may not be available to you but it is consistent for a-plan pricing across the company. If you want more info on the pricing I can try to help you out, just email me at: gus_mouse(No Email Addresses In Posts!) and I'll see what I can find out.

Since the x-plan is a friends and family plan - contact me and as long as you don't swear at me I'll see what I can do to hook you up with a pin number...

Gus

Post How to save some bucks

The best way is to go into the dealer with an x-plan pin (unless you are related and qualify for an a-plan pin) and either use the x-plan pin straight up or bargain with the dealer knowing that you can always get it for the x-plan price and see if the dealership will go below the x-plan price for you (most won't especially on newer models).

If she doesn't have an x-plan pin left, I believe I have 3 left for this calendar year and am willing to give them to whoever can use them that will use them to purchase a ford motor company vehicle. The process takes 2 hours roughly from the time I strart typing in your information to generate a PIN. It does take your name, address, phone, what vehicle your after and possibly replacing or keeping along side your new vehicle and the last 4 digits of your soc. I like they don't ask for someone's whole soc number anymore but only the last 4 - that way I feel more comfortable about giving pins to anyone that can use them since I don't need to know too much info about them. If you need a PIN just post a reply to this forum or send me a msg... If I don't have one I work with 1,000's of people that should have one to give away.

Gus

I'm signing the paperwork today on a new F250. I just called the sales manager and asked him if I could get a better deal using the x-plan and he is going to look into it.

He thinks he's right around what X-plan is right now anyway. But I will post here in the next few minutes and let you know.

Thanks

The sales manager just called me back about the X-plan. I would save $425 using the X-plan.

Only drawback is that they must have the full SS# from the sponsor who donated the plan in case for audits them.

If this is doable, I'll send you the info you need and my phone number.

Thanks

Would anyone like to sponsor me???

I will be attempting to purchase a new 2004 F150 Super Crew Lariat in a week or two. I noticed on the forum where some of you have offered to sponsor a new buyer in order for them to get one of Fords plan pricing.

Is any one interested in helping me get the most discount that I can get???

Thanks,
Steve

X Plan pin

Gus_Mouse,

I'd like to take you up on your kind offer for a pin. I'm ready to pull the trigger on an F-150 and I could use the extra discount.

Thanks.

I will be purchasing a new ford F-250 Lariat and would like to use the x-plan. I would greately appreciate your assistance as a sponsor if you have any pin# left for this calendar year. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
