I try to follow 02psd4me way, many times I just simply forget and leave it running. Water is a precious commodity- no sense of purposely wasting it. Other than that I am not a big recycler...
Used to leave it running, the place I live now the sink only has hot!!! don't know why yet but it keeps me from leaving the faucet on during brushing. Mabey this is the start of a more environmentally friendly me.
Open.......I have a well. Dont much concern myself with too much water usage, it does just go right back into the ground. Kinda thought provoking isnt it?
we don't pay for our water but i don't leave it running. in quebec we pay less for water and electricity than just about anywhere so its not really saving money. its just how i was brought up. my dad didn't let us leave water running or leave the lights on when we left a room.
i even take a bath in my girlfriend's bathwater. maybe i'm just too lazy to draw my own bath... but she's not as dirty as me and when she's finished the water's not too hot
we also recycle all our paper, plastic, cans and glass. probably more in our blue bin that actual garbage. but everyone should recycle. if you could recycle gas you would so why not recycle your newspapers and save a tree or two
and i have a huge compost for all my leaves and grass clippings in the back yard... it's actually a lot easier than bagging them
course then i go and ruin it all by keeping all these old cars and trucks that pollute and use too much gas but that's just me
Why do people need to wet the brush first? I quit wetting my toothbrush before brushing when I was 12 years old. I don't turn on the water until I'm done brushing and ready to rinse the brush out.
I use a rechargable electric toothbrush in the shower. This way I can drool and splatter all I want and it doesn't make a mess. I like to rinse my mouth thoroughly, and this is the best way I've found. While brushing I'm also rinsing the soap off of the rest of me.
