Ok the first question I have is: Are the fuel reset switch and fuelpump relay switch the same thing??? sorry I'm a novice....
If not I need to find the fuel reset switch for my 94 E150 conversion... any ideas???

I believe they are different. The fuel reset switch is probably the inertia switch, which is located inside the passenger's side kick panel. There is a cut-out in the panel for access.

I'm not sure where the relay is, I'd have to find the book.

The relay is an electromagnetic switch designed to take load away from the ignition switch, and is triggered by the computer. It is in the power distrubution box under the hood. The fuel pump reset switch is the inertia switch, which can also pop if a high load is detected. It's behind the panel at the feet of the passenger. You will see a sticker indicating how to tell if the switch has tripped.

Nah, if the switch is not tripped check for power at the relay, and the EEC relay (both in the same box), and then check fuses in the inside panel.

Can we assume There's no hum from the fuel pump when you turn the key to on ?
If that other stuff checks out good, then give the gas tank a few good whacks with a rubber mallet with the key in the on position and listen for the humming.
If it starts humming, the fuel pumps bad. If it don't start humming, then it could still be something else like a bad wire or connector. If there's a lot of miles on that van, which there usually is on a conversion van cause most folks get them for long trips and vacations, then I'd say that 94 is ready for a new pump. If there's any way you can get at the fuel pump connector at the tank and unplug it, you could check for voltage at the connector with the key on. If you can't reach it, you just might have to drop the tank either way.

[B]IT WORKED!!! this forum is the best I didn't have the first clue on where to look or what to do if it wasn't the problem... and the best part, when i got home last night my father-in-law was over and had the hood of my van open and trying to figure out what the problem was and I tripped the switch and it fired right up... the look on his face was classic!! anyway Thanks again... I'll be back I'm sure.... I love my van and never want to get rid of it so I'll probably have to replace everything within the next 50k miles (I just hit 150k)...

thanks again
Mike

Well mine runs like a top but I've had it for just over a year and I don't think it was well cared for before i bought it, just little things here and there except I did replace the tranny this summer... so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it makes it through winter before the next big repair, in the spring I am taking it to waldoch to have some of the extras fixed or updated... like I said before I plan on keeping it for a long long time, theres nothing like a van... this one is my third....
