Liftgate and Camper shell...

Hello

I posted this yesterday but I never saw it in the forums so I will ask again. Does anybody know if you can put both a liftgate (like a maxon liftgate or Tommy liftgate) on a F350 and still put a Camper Shell/ Bed Cap like a Leer or Snugtop on? I would like to have both but I don't know if one would preclude the other....Thanks for any info...

I have a tommy gate, but don't camp.

if I can tell you anything about the gate let me know.

Liftgate and Campershell

Thanks for the response ehchvac. If you don't mind me asking, how much did that liftgate cost installed. Are you happy with the quality and workmanship of the Tommy Gate or are there any regrets that you should have gone with another brand. Does the liftgate preclude you from towing a fifth wheel or block you from towing in a boat? Sorry for the rapid fire questions but this is my first truck. How long have you had your Tommy gate? Is is a workhorse? Thanks...

tommy gates come in a bunch of weight ratings and I have had several over the years I see no downside to them at all.

they don't block anything at all
