Hello... I have an issue with my Liftgate being Ajar. The latch itself does not lock the liftgate. So it will just open without even pulling the liftgate lever.

I tried putting a screw driver to activate the latch to see if it locks at all, but Its just sort of floppy.

The liftgate button on the overhead console doesnt seem to do anything when pressed. Any ideas?

Remove the interior panel off the rear hatch and inspect the latching mechanism and linkage for broken components.
