i have a fmx tran. behind a 351c, in 48 f1. tran wont stay in park .. really doesant feel like it is going all the way in.. have unhooked linkage and shift thru gears and just dont go in park far enough anyone help me on this thanks

I've got '65 F100 with a '69 Mustang 302 in it and the FMX transmission. This transmission shifts really crisp and hard on acceleration but I have the same problem with it slipping out of Park. I can get it in Park but would never trust it to leave the truck running in Park unattended. It has slipped into Reverse on me more than once.
I'm of no help to you but if anyone knows the solution you will have fixed two vehicles instaed of just one.
