I have a XLT Super Cab with 111,254 miles on it. The check engine light has been on a couple of weeks now and I see other owners have run into the same problem, but have never really gotten a good answer on what to do about it.
Can someone please give me an idea of what is going on with my vehicle. I'd rather not drop large amounts of $$ if I don't have to.
Disconnect the negative battery cable for 15 seconds and see if the check engine light goes out and stays out. If the light comes back on you will need to read the codes it is storing. Some vehicles have a mileage activated O2 sensor replacement light. I can not find reference to it.
Thanks for using FTE!
