Flowmaster on a Ranger
Since then I've talked to a few muffler shop people around here (the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul) and learned that typically small V6's are being configured with no mufflers.
Have a good day and enjoy the ride.

As far as not having any muffler on, I'd say that's probably not a hot idea unless you want a lot of noise violation tickets. Even with the Flowmaster 40, you have to be real care full not to really get on the gas, That's right I got pulled over for excessive noise with my flowmaster on, I suppose doing 50mph in 2nd had something to do with it....
Good Luck!

P.S. check out my gallery, it shows what kind of exit I have.

So you're saying the 40 series Flowmaster with duals out the back sounds pretty tough?? My brother has an S10 with the 4.3 and he's got Flowmaster of some sort on his truck, and it sounds like a lawn mower. I know my truck won't sound like a V8 because it's not a V8, but I just hope to make it sound a little meaner. The stock setup sounds wimpy. Thanks!
