2.3 turbo
i was wondering if anyone knew the stock horsepower rating for a 2.3 turbo out of the thunderbirds(1988). i'm curious because i want to put one in my 1989 ranger (which already has a 2.3 and mazada 5speed). also if there is any information that could be passed on as far as the swap would go i would appreciate any help or advice from someone who has done this swap before.

The 88's with a standard are 190 hp. I have a 93 ranger and an 88 TC and will probably do this swap in the spring. If you go to Ranger Power Sports there are lots of articles on this swap.
