Hi,
I just bought a 94 Lightning with a Eclipse 5341 CD Player. It was bought from a used car dealer and has no instruction booklet. What is happening is there is no rear speaker output. The wiring is all good and the front works fine. BTW I am just using the internal amp.
Many people do not use rear speakers (rear fill) to improve the acoustics or "soundstage." You can pull the head unit out and check to see if the rear speaker outputs are hooked up. Also, check to see if the rear speakers are hooked up or even there. I have a hard time believing that it's just the rear internal amps that are blown out.

The first thing I did was pull it out and everything is hooked up. If you hook the rears up to the front out put they work fine and the front dont work.....
I could also be the fader control. Make sure it isn't turned all the way to the front. I have never used Eclipse stereos so I can't tell you how to do it.
