i have a classmate that just rags on my truck like how his would beat mine in a quarter mile. so from the following specs, who would you wager to win?
1984 f-250 (truck in sig)
131k
351w
c6 w/shift kit
2wd
2bbl carb
3.73 gears
gutted cats/borla muffler
1998 ranger
unknown mileage(maybe around 50k)
v6
manual 5sp
2wd
efi
unknown gears(whatever comes stock w/ a manual)
stock exhaust
mines a reg cab longbed, i never saw his truck so i dont know what it is , maybe a reg cab longbed or a supercab/shortbed.
i want to go to a drag strip in the spring, hopefully he will come to and not back out.
You're geared right for a win. His weight is right for a win. Run him on an 1/8 mile track and he's all yours. Probably be a toss up in the quarter. Drop the tail gate. That'll get you some weight off and cut down on drag. Remove air filter for less air resistance and catch a good light!
