Yesterday I bought an Accel Super Stock coil and installed it in my Bronco. All I have to say is "wow". It made such a difference in spark, idle, start, and throttle esponse. It runs so much better, and definately has much more get up and go. My question is whether ignition box's (looking at the Accel one as well) make much of a difference in performance over stock ones, and whether the price tag (about $200) is worth the gains. Does anyone have any experience with installing them on carbed engines and their thoughts on their benefit/gains?
