Basic PC user question. Thanks

I'm wondering how to disable the function that lists usernames or previous queries when entering the information in a textbox. Does anyone know what I need to do? I find it very annoying. Thanks

this is assuming you have Internet explorer. I think this is it, but its been awhile since i used it. go to tools-->internet options--->advanced then uncheck the 3rd from the bottom box under the browsing category. lemme know if that works.

Depending on what version of IE you are using it may also be under the content tab of internet options. It will be the auto complete button. You can clear all your old queries out while you are there also.
