What hardware to bolt in radiator support in '53 F100

Hello all,
I bought my truck in pieces so I'm not really sure how some of it goes back together. I wanted to bolt in my radiator support last night but I couldn't figure out what hardware to use since the frame crossmember has to large rectangular holes in it where the rad bolt support bolts in. Do I use a cage nut or is there some other special nut that I have to use to fill the holes.

Mid fifty doesn't list anything so I'm not sure what to use. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks much - Brad

I guess there is a little nut plate that none of us outside Arizona have ever seen before. I suggest a bolt and a nut with big washers. Allow yourself just a little room to adjust the radiator support during front clip alignment. Not quite stock, but damn handy if your cab has moved 1/4 inch, or you have a collection of stock and non-stock body panels.

Brad,
Mid-fifty lists a kit on PG. 121 that includes 2 stainless bolts, nuts, washers and 2 rubber bumpers. Should be just what you need.

I think I remember using a 7/16" bolt and washer. Like Dewayne, I left it a little loose until after I got all the front sheet metal situated correctly. Good luck, John
