4R100 Trans DTC code P1744 - HELP!

4R100 Trans DTC code P1744 - HELP!
Anybody out there ever get this code from their tranny? If so, what causes it and what was the fix? Did a search on the web and found it described as "Torque Converter Clutch System Stuck in Off Possition". I got it yesterday when my overdrive light started flashing and the truck didn't hardly want to move. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Never had a tranny problem but if I was you I would climb under, disconnect the electrical plug to the trans, inspect the contacts to make sure thay are not corroded, clean them if they are and reattach.
Disconnect battery while doing this to reset the computer and as a plain old safety precaution when working on electrical stuff.
Restart and drive to see if problem and code are fixed.
