Both Headlights out
My son has a Ford Ranger truck and both headlights went out has night at the same time while in use under normal driving conditions.It does not apprear to be a fuse or the headlight bulbs,What else should we check.

Bad headlight switch, bright/dim switch? You don't say what year so I can't get specific.

Did you check the main power-distribution box under the hood too? There are fuses and relays in there as well. Sounds like he overloaded a circuit. Is he running a high-power stereo system or fog lamps or anything else at the same time that could be overloading the circuit?
