changing coolant

I have 97 ford ranger. I have had it for 8 months.
It had 65k when I got it, now it has 72k.
Do you think I should change coolant? :-)

Yes, and change the transmission fluid, rear end fluid, spark plugs, plug wires, timing belt, acc. belt and check/change the fluid in the Brakes and clutch and the brake pad and shoes.

That's what I did with mine. The battery needed changing too.

Yes. Most coolants are rated to provide corrosion resistance for 2 years. Premium coolants may be 5 year rated. I buy the five year stuff and change it every 3 to 4 years.
