i'm trying to find out what type of fluid to put in my transmission. i've read "if it's an iron case, it takes gear oil, aluminum case, and it takes ATF"
the np435 is on my 72 F100 4x4. the transfer case takes 50W according to the chilton manual, but they don't mention the type of fliud for the transmission.
one guy i talked to said it probably used the same as the transfer case. another person told me 90W. who is right?
