Need help locating a Cap bolt w/stud for oil pickup tube.
who ever had the truck before me rebuilt the engine and tack welded the stand off to a cap bolt. Oil pump went south had to break the tack weld so now I need a bolt with stud. Dealer?? went to advance and auto zone no help.
if you need one of those bolts ARP has them, and you can also get just the bolt through canton. I used to have the part numbers from arp but lost that email, but you can call or email them, and they will give it to you, and you can order straight from them or through someone like summit
yeah it had a mech pressure guage on it thats how I figured it lost pressure. It was running about 10-20 PSI at Idle and 60-70 when running. pressure went to 0 PSI Si I figured the Pump went bad. put the new one in and still no pressure. So I pulled the distrbuto to make sure I had the shaft in there right. it is , so now I baffled. anyone got any Ideas?
