I do like the way he posted it, though...

But where is the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest incompetant people and they get into office and screw everything up, well, you are responsible for what they have done. You cause the problem, you voted them in, you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact, did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have a right to complain as loud as I want about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with. --George Carlin

Amazingly, I didn't have to edit anything out so I could post it here.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree. I just found it funny and thought some of you might get a kick out of it.
If everyone in this Country subscribed to George Carlins logic, this country would be terrible shape.

No, if everyone but us FTE members had George Carlin's attitude, things would be great! I have faith in us here for the most part, as the common sense is pretty well distributed in these forums with but a few exceptions.

Me to registered and my wife is waiting for her card. She is finding out how hard it is to decide on who to vote. She even watched the debates.

I will do EARLY voting today to ensure nothing stops me from voting in the MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION EVER !

As someone said... this one could be world changing....

I mean,
I know the outcome of our times (knowing a bit about what the Bible says)....
but I'd rather Armageddon wait a few years

And if you JUST follow the television ads without ANY research on your own.... you should NOT be voting....

An uninformed voter is a waste of the informed voters vote....
it scares me to death to hear some speak about things they know NOTHING about -
I have always voted THIS way because I'm registered this way or
my "group" I belong to says vote this way....

Please use the brain God gave you to research their history and THINK about it...

YOU, individually, will not get what either one promises...
and they are just promises...
you will only get what YOU do personally,
the only thing THEY can do is get the country in the shape to ALLOW you to do your thing....

it is ALL up to you.... you can't blame ANYONE else for your predicament or your success....

but do understand the blessings you receive from time to time

whew - off my soapbox now - and stayed pretty generic (I think )
