block heater

Hey buddy`s
Where the heck exactaly is my plug for my block heater?
The manual points to a spot near the drivers side headlite, I`ll be damned If I can find it.Thanks

If you have one, its just to the right of the license plate if your looking at the front of the truck

All 99+ PSD's came with a block heater as standard equiptment. On mine it was tucked up above the drivers side tow hook, wire tied to a bumper bracket.

If you can't find the plug, the wire (should be) visible on the frame rail in the left front wheel well. As long as you can see it, you can trace it.

Try the other end of the cord. Directly above your oil filter you should see the large cord coming out of the side of the block. Try following it all the way up the frame.

Of course, it is possible that truck had the "cold weather delete" option. In that case, you would have neither the block heater nor the EBPV. Not likely since most trucks had both, but a remote possibility.
