Cobra valve covers
Hey guys, I thought I'd treat myself to a pair of those tasty aluminum valve covers from ford racing for looks and to stop my pesky leaks in my 66 f1oo / 390.. However...... they are 5 inches tall and won't clear the power brake booster!!!!!! Don't know why they had to make them so tall. Just a lot of empty space inside! They were $160 from Jegs which is a decent price eventhough they are made in Tiwan. So, save yourselves some disapointment if you were thinking of going that route.

You might want to lookout for a smaller booster and replace it. I don't have a clue why there are different sizes but there are.
A real trick here is to not over tighten the covers. A friend installed mine for me the last time and he used that ol black varnish like stuff. Aint leaked a drop and I must have put a half dozen gasket sets on.
