Bill - The gauge I installed was actually pretty easy to do. I have an x-monitor with tranny temp, boost, and pyro. The hardest part for me was the wiring...fat fingers + fat body + tight places + small wires = big frustration! It still just took me an afternoon to hook all up. That isn't including the painting and running to the store to pick up wire splices to replace the ones I broke or lost.

Installing the pod is not too hard. You may have to paint it. The main thing I would do differently would be not drilling the holes for the plastic rivets - there's 3 or 4, the paint is coming off mine. The pod fits over the stock pillar cover. Just clean the inside and outside with something like denatured alcohol and use industrial double sided tape. Run the light wire to the headlight switch. Decide what you want to monitor and have fun.
