Rear Driveshaft Question

I found a guy parting out an 88 B2, and it has the good aftermarket driveshaft with the double cardan U-Joints. Everything I've seen on these shows the double joint on the transmission side and the single joint on the differential side. This one is the opposite, with the double joint at the rear. Which is correct, or does it make a difference?

Thanks for the replies, folks. A mechanic friend of mine said it made no difference, but I think I'll install it with the double joint on the trans side. Anybody else ever seen one the other way?
