Got my screw sprayed with line x last weekend. There is a $20 coupon on their website. Looks really great, but haven't got a chance too use it yet. It is sprayed on pretty thick and has a warranty for as long as you have your truck. Much better than drop in plastic bed liner!!!
My vote is for the Line-X. I do a lot of hauling and moving and it stands up very tough. Plus it has a life time warranty. Still looks great even after all the stuff I've thrown back there.
bed rug is just foam and then carpet one top, feels like that stuff they use on sub boxes kinda. i like mine is thick enough to keep the bed dent and it wont stratch the bed. brought it so i can go camping and stargazing and i just sleep in the bed of my truck. works for me cause i dont do much hauling but if this thing ever screws up im getting the color matched line-x
I have a bedrug and don't have any complaints yet. I ordered it through Truck Accessorizer for $290 no tax and free shipping. Install was a breeze. Check out my gallery.
Why is it that these little decisions make me crazy?
Probably because $400 to most people is not a little decision. Nobody wants to spend $400 and then discover that they've gotten a sorry product or a product that really doesn't suit their needs. I am wringing over similar decisions right now on a bed cover, but I think I have finally made a decision (thanks FTE posters for helping me out !).
Anyway, I just got LineX sprayed in yesterday. It looks great and looks tough too. I didn't go with Rhino because the nearest Rhino installer was quite far away. If he was nearer, then I would have had to really "think" about this decision. But since I had heard so many good things about LineX, I felt comfortable just going with LineX.
I have a rhino, and I love it except it's not very hard.. Its soft and real easy to dent. I have beaten out about 10 dents out of my bed in the 7 months I have owned my truck.
If I could go back in time, I would get the LIne-x because from what I have noticed on my friends truck, it is much harder and more dent resistant that the Rhino.
Both are excellent though. Either one you get, you wont be sorry.
I have had several different sprayed on liners but I have to say the best one so far is the on in both of my new fords which is REFLEX sprayed on bedliners.

He He He, I have to say, it looks aweful funny for a "New User" to pop in and start saying that! Seeing as you probably work for them, and or own them, why dont you send me some information and I will check it out. May as well just be honest from the get go instead of being so very sneaky.... LoL
I've owned both the Line-X and Rhino. Personally I like the Rhino better because the material is less slippery when wet.
I just bought another Rhino for my new SCREW and shopping around it was about $100 cheaper than the Line-X. Also, check out Rhino Linings website for an additional discount if purchased before the end of November.
Had Line-X do mine and have no regrets. I think it looks better than Rhino. Line-X is a more refined look. It is a harder finish that allows you to "slide" things in, but tacky enough to hold them from sliding "easily" on their own. Works perfect for me.
WORDS OF CAUTION...
Elsewhere in this Forum you'll see posts about "Dents in tailgate"....
One guy posted that mysteriously, small dents had appeared in his tailgate... I saw his post and asked if he just had his bed spray lined. He had. It happened to mine as well. They remove the tailgate to spray. With the lift assist of the tailgate, it seems much lighter than they are. When removing it... if not careful... it falls and bangs on the bumper... result, small dents in the tailgate that match perfectly with the center drop of the bumper. Line-X had a paintless dent repair guy fix mine and two other posters took this info had had there's repaired as well. Hope this saves somebody the gut wrenching of dents in their new truck! It happens way too easily when you remove the cables that support the gate.
The Rhino liner is too much like a thick paint to do much good but Line-X is very good and resists sliding much more than the Rhino. I beleive that the UV protectant is mixed in with the chemicals used to make the liner for Line-X. I too have a Reflex sprayed in my truck, which also carries a lifetime warranty. I don't know which is better between Line-X or Reflex but I would take either over a Rhino. I work in a place where they spray the Reflex so I got a big discount, but I had never heard of Reflex before so I probably would have gone with a Line-X
I bought a Pendaliner SR (skid resistor) drop-in liner 2 years ago. I have no complaints at all, works as advertised. You can put gas cans in the bed and they won't move. I looked into a spray-on liner but didn't want to pay that much.
I just bought a 93 F250 SC 460 that had a drop-in liner in it. Took it out to wash it and the box ( the previou owner hauled rocks!!!) The plastic liner saved the box from dents - BUT the paint is worn through all over the box. Not a rust spot in the rest of the truck, except under the liner. Instead of having the box repainted, sounds like spray in liner is the way to go. Sounds like a lot of you guys like LineX. I know there are Rhino dealers in this area (western CO), but will have to hunt for Linex.
