c6 to a t-18 conversion

Since the c6 is due a rebuild and I've found a killer deal on a t-18 and that is the tranny I really want, why not? Any way, I know the obvious: clutch, pedal, pilot bearing, etc. But being kinda new to this what else do I need to know or prepare for. The tranny came from an 84 250 w/ 351w. My truck has the 302 but t is a 77 model(shouldnt matter right?) My only concern is the 250 was a 4x2, mine is 4x4. Will I have to make changes in the driveshaft, what about the t-case? AAaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, back to reality, can I do this or is just way to difficult. If it helps the tranny comes with the pressure and belhousing from the 250.

You are looking at a fairly difficult job. Your t-18 will need a different tail housing to mate up with the x-fer case.
